Daud bin Rshyd narrates from al-Walid bin Muslim al-Quraishi narrating from Bakr bin Madr bin Muhammad narrating from Amr bin al-Harith bin Yaqub narrating from Uqba bin Amir al-Juhayni.

This tradition has also been narrated on the same authority through another chain of transmitters.

وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ مُضَرَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمِثْلِهِ ‏.‏
